June 4, 2012 Former Four Seasons Hotel Auction Extended to June 4th starting at 10 a.m. Public and collectors get one more chance to take home a piece of the legendary haute hotel Due to overwhelming response, IAAS Worldwide is extending the Former Four Seasons Hotel auction for a fourth day. With the addition of new merchandise being lotted for the first time, over 3,000 lots of items from the hotel’s almost 400 luxury guest suites, Brit-inspired reception rooms and signature lounge, bar and dining areas will be up for competitive bids. Auction goers and nostalgic collectors will have the opportunity to make offers on beds with fine linens, plush pillows and duvets, furniture, televisions, custom shelving, kitchen appliances, commercial dryers, and even Christmas decorations, notable hotel décor items and artwork.
The legendary Four Seasons Hotel building at Yorkville and Avenue Road will transform under new owners, Camrost-Felcorp Inc. into The New Residences of Yorkville Plaza, a luxury condominium with high-end retail that will usher in a new era for this world-class location. But before the revitalization begins, millions of dollars worth of hotel furnishings, decor items and five-star hotel amenity assets must be sold.
Live bidding begins on Monday June 4 at 10 a.m. and will run until everything is sold.
